For That Reason, It Becomes Necessary To Examine The Problem Of Our Actions And To Ask How They Are To Be Performed. For As We Have Said, The Actions Determine What Kind Of Characteristics Are Developed.

Thus Every Action Must Be Due To One Or Other Of Seven Causes: Chance, Nature, Compulsion, Habit, Reasoning, Anger, Or Appetite.

Courage Is The First Virtue That Makes All Other Virtues Possible.

The Man Who Confers A Favour Would Rather Not Be Repaid In The Same Coin.
