Several People Have Told Me That One Of The Most Meaningful Events They Could Attend Would Be Something At The White House With Their Children.

I Would Like To Save Lives. Now You Know, The Gun Lobby Will Say, "you Can't Stop Everybody." And I Would Agree With That: You Can't Stop Everybody. Isn't It Worth Stopping As Many As Possible, Saving As Many Lives As We Can? And I Think Comprehensive Background Checks And Trying To Keep Guns Outta The Wrong Hands Would Help Us Do That.

I Started Off As A Young Lawyer Working Against Discrimination Against African-american Children In Schools And In The Criminal Justice System. I Worked To Make Sure That Kids With Disabilities Could Get A Public Education, Something That I Care Very Much About. I Have Worked With Latinos - One Of My First Jobs In Politics Was Down In South Texas Registering Latino Citizens To Be Able To Vote. So I Have A Deep Devotion To Making Sure That An Every American Feels Like He Or She Has A Place In Our Country.

I Think Our Great Task Is To Make Certain That Our Young Men And Women In The Military Do Not Get Sucked Into Never- Ending, Perpetual Warfare Within The Quagmire Of Syria And Iraq. And I Will Do My Very Best To Make Sure That That Doesn't Happen.

I Want To Take Some Of The Ideas That Worked When My Husband Was President, And We Ended Up With 23 Million New Jobs And Incomes Went Up For Everybody.
