I'm Comfortable In My Own

I Write What I Write, Say What I Say, 'cause I Feel What I Feel, And If I Did It Different, It Would Make Me A Liar! So I'd Rather Be An Honest Person Than A Good Liar.

I've Never Had A Divorce, But I've Seen So Many Of My Friends, My Sister, My Family Go Through That Stuff, So I Try To Write For The People That Can't Write About It. I Take On Their Sorrow, So I'm Able To Kind Of Express It, Or Their Joy.

I Don't Have To Keep A Diary. It Seems Like For The Last 40 Years My Life Has Been Lived In The Press, So I Can Google Any Date In My History And Find Out What I Was Doing.

I Was Born In An Odd Spot And Was A Very Sensitive Kid. My Feelings Could Get Hurt So Easily Because I Always Wanted To Be Loved, I Wanted To Be Touched, I Wanted To Touch Somebody. I Wanted Everybody To Love Me, So I Think I Was Louder Than I Should Have Been. I Was Just Trying To Get Attention. I Always Felt Like I Was Somebody Special, Maybe It's Because I Needed To Be Somebody Special.

Music Is My Personal Addiction. So Much Of Everything I've Done Has Only Been To Open More Doors For The Music Itself. It All Gets Back To The Fact That I Am, First Of All, A Songwriter And A Singer.
