Let Us Live In As

The Church Alone Beyond All Question Has For Ill-gotten Goods The Right Digestion.

So Then The Year Is Repeating Its Old Story Again. We Are Come Once More, Thank God! To Its Most Charming Chapter. The Violets And The Mayflowers Are As Its Inscriptions Or Vignettes. It Always Makes A Pleasant Impression On Us, When We Open Again At These Pages Of The Book Of Life.

As Soon As Any One Belongs To A Narrow Creed In Science, Every Unprejudiced And True Perception Is Gone.

Pain And Pleasure, Good And Evil, Come To Us From Unexpected Sources. It Is Not There Where We Have Gathered Up Our Brightest Hopes, That The Dawn Of Happiness Breaks. It Is Not There Where We Have Glanced Our Eye With Affright, That We Find The Deadliest Gloom. What Should This Teach Us? To Bow To The Great And Only Source Of Light, And Live Humbly And With Confiding Resignation.

The Whole History Of The Christian Church Is A Mixture Of Errors And Violence.
