One Day You Can Be

I Am Number One In The World, So I Have The Right To Be Arrogant

I've Never Had Big Problems About Being Long On The Court. During The U.s. Open I Played Three Events (singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles) And Some People Asked Me If I Want To Stay Overnight On The Court.

Sometimes I Wouldn't Give An Interview Because I Didn't Have The Time Or Something Else Was More Important. So They Come Up With A Story Which I Don't Think Is Always True, But They Have To Sell Papers.

I Didn't Have The Same Fitness Or Ability As The Other Girls, So I Had To Beat Them With My Mind.

I Was Never Happy That My Injuries Cut My Career Short And Ultimately Forced My Decision To Step Away From Tennis. I Have Enjoyed My Time Away From The Court, A Period That Has Allowed Me To Experience A Different Side Of Life. However, I Miss The Game And The Challenge Of Competing At The Highest Level Of Tennis, And I Want To Gauge Whether I Can Stay Healthy And Compete Against Today's Top Players.
