We're Not Going To Give Tax Breaks To Billionaires And Then Cut Back On The Needs Of Our Elderly Or Poor Or Kids Or Education. We're Not Going To Privatize Social Security - In Fact, We're Going To Strengthen It. We're Going To Provide Quality Education For Every Kid In America, From Preschool Through College. We Have To Take On These Corporate Leaders Who Are Selling Out The American People, Whose Allegiance Is Now Much More To China Than It Is To The United States. If We Have The Courage To Take These People On, I Think We Can Overwhelm George W. Bush And His Friends.

We`ve Got To Stand With Those People Who Are Being Attacked Today, But At The Same Time, It`s Not Good Enough To Say That Racism And Xenophobia Is Bad. We`ve Got To Reach Those People Today Who Are So Angry, Who Are So Hateful And Say, Yes, You Have A Right To Be Angry, Don`t Take It Out On The Muslims. Work With Us To Create An Agenda And Political Movement That Will Make Your Life Better, Not Just Other People`s Life Worse.

The Reality Is That We Have One Of Lowest Voter Turnouts Of Any Major Country On Earth Because So Many People Have Given Up On The Political Process. The Reality Is That There Has Been Trillions Of Dollars Of Wealth Going From The Middle Class In The Last 30 Years To The Top 1/10th Of 1 Percent.

We Live In A Country Where A Small Number Of People Have Incredible Wealth And Power. America Has More Income And Wealth Inequality Than Any Other Major Country.

Politics Is Not About A Person. We Transform America Not By Electing Some Guy Or Woman To Be President; We Transform This Country When Millions Of People Stand Up And Fight Back. That Will Result In Good Leadership On Top. So The Goal Right Now Is Not To Worry About Who's Going To Be Running In 2020 Or 2080. The Goal Now Is To Mobilize Millions Of People Around A Progressive Agenda.
